Job Description – Electrical Site Supervisor

Compensation: ₹25,000 per month onwards (commensurate with experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee the execution of electrical works across multiple project sites in Tamil Nadu. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all site activities are executed in accordance with approved engineering standards, project schedules, quality requirements, and safety regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise, effective team coordination, and the ability to manage on-site operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day electrical installation and execution activities at project sites.
- Ensure all electrical works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Monitor site progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
- Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company HSE policies.
- Review electrical drawings, layouts, and technical documentation to ensure accurate site implementation.
- Plan and optimize the utilization of manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project standards.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, material consumption reports, and other project documentation.
- Support testing, commissioning, and final project handover activities while ensuring timely project completion.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in electrical site supervision, preferably in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical installations, LT/HT systems, cable routing, panels, and testing procedures.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and technical specifications.
- Sound knowledge of electrical safety regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel and work across project locations within Tamil Nadu.
