Experience: Over 10-12 years’ experience in tendering, contract administration, billing, client coordination. At least 2 years experience in Offshore Shipping Company in similar role.

Job Description:
1. Tendering
- Own and lead the Tender Function of the given business vertical.
- Possess thorough knowledge of the complete tender lifecycle for high-value bids.
- Undertake comprehensive techno-commercial analysis of tender documents.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for successful bid execution.
- Formulate bidding strategies to strengthen the Company's market positioning and maximize win probability.
- Oversee bid compilation to ensure complete, compliant and error-free submissions.
- Ensure timely submission of bids in accordance with tender requirements.
- Lead post-bid correspondence, clarifications, negotiations and query resolution.
- Possess sound knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework governing the industry, including Cabotage Law, Right of First Refusal (RoFR), taxation and other applicable regulations.
- Possess sound understanding of process costing, pricing models and commercial risk assessment.
2. Contract Management and Administration (Client & Vendor Contracts)
- Lead the complete contract lifecycle from award to closure for client and vendor agreements.
- Draft, review, negotiate and finalize commercial agreements in coordination with internal stakeholders and legal advisors.
- Ensure contractual terms adequately protect the Company's commercial and legal interests.
- Identify, assess and mitigate contractual risks and liabilities.
- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, milestones and deliverables.
- Manage contract amendments, variations, extensions, claims and dispute resolution.
- Develop standardized contract templates and strengthen contract governance processes.
- Provide commercial interpretation of contract provisions to support business operations.
3. Work Measurement, Client Billing & Vendor Billing
- Establish robust work measurement mechanisms to ensure accurate quantification of services delivered.
- Ensure timely preparation, verification and certification of client invoices in accordance with contractual provisions.
- Review and validate vendor invoices against contractual terms and work completed.
- Develop and implement billing procedures and internal controls to eliminate revenue leakage.
- Resolve billing disputes and coordinate with clients, vendors and finance teams for timely settlements.
- Monitor receivables, payment milestones and billing performance indicators.
- Ensure complete documentation supporting invoices, measurements and contractual entitlements.
- Drive automation and process improvements in billing and commercial administration.
4. Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain a reliable vendor ecosystem to support business requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, pre-qualify and onboard strategic vendors.
- Lead commercial negotiations to achieve optimum commercial outcomes.
- Monitor vendor performance against contractual KPIs, quality, cost and delivery commitments.
- Build long-term strategic relationships with key vendors and service providers.
- Identify alternate sources and develop vendor diversification strategies to mitigate supply risks.
- Resolve commercial and contractual issues arising during project execution.
- Ensure vendor compliance with contractual, statutory and Company requirements.
5. Client Communication & Relationship Management
- Serve as the commercial interface with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Commercial discussions, negotiations and contract-related correspondence.
- Ensure timely resolution of client queries, contractual issues and commercial concerns.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure commitments made to clients are effectively delivered.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion, repeat orders and value-added services.
- Represent the Company in client meetings, presentations and commercial negotiations.
- Maintain high standards of professional communication reflecting the Company's values and reputation.
6. Industry Research, Market Intelligence & Strategic Initiatives
- Prepare market reports, management presentations and business proposals.
- Support senior management in evaluating new business opportunities, acquisitions and diversification initiatives.
- Track policy changes and industry regulations affecting the Company's business.
- Represent the Company at industry forums, conferences and stakeholder engagements where required.
- Drive strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the Company's market leadership and long-term growth.
Knowledge required:
· Previous experience in Tender bidding, preparation & Billing.
· Good understanding of legal terminology.
· Self-starter and ability to work with minimum supervision.
· Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
