Job Summary
The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in the kitchen and back-of-house areas. The role involves washing and sanitizing utensils, crockery, cutlery, kitchen equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment for the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, and sanitize plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, workstations, sinks, and storage areas.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment as instructed by the chef.
- Ensure proper disposal and segregation of kitchen waste.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist the kitchen team in maintaining a smooth and organized workflow.
- Ensure adequate availability of clean crockery, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist in receiving, moving, and storing kitchen supplies when required.
- Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, or hygiene concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- Maintain personal hygiene and wear the required uniform/PPE while working.

- Good knowledge of basic kitchen hygiene and sanitation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and comfortable with standing for long periods.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and on holidays.
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum 10th pass preferred.
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, or commercial
-The incumbent should have minimum 3 yrs of experience
Working Conditions
- Full-time position.
- Shift-based work.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
