Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer/Architect with4-8 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating project concepts into practical, buildable designs while ensuring regulatory compliance, consultant coordination, and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop efficient, buildable layouts based on approved project concepts.
- Prepare concept, schematic, working, and GFC drawings as per project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with local building by-laws, fire safety norms, environmental regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Optimize FSI/FAR utilization, improve carpet efficiency, and maximize saleable area.
- Coordinate with Structural, MEP, HVAC, and other consultants to deliver clash-free drawings.
- Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and version control.
- Conduct site visits, respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, and support construction activities.
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout project execution.
- Participate in coordination meetings and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work within approved budgets and recommend value engineering solutions wherever applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
- 4–8 years of experience in architectural/design engineering within the real estate or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of building by-laws, NBC, fire safety regulations, and statutory approvals.
- Experience in preparing concept, schematic, working, and GFC drawings.
- Hands-on experience coordinating with Structural, MEP, HVAC, and other consultants.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Office. Knowledge of BIM is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of FSI/FAR optimization, space planning, and value engineering.
- Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
Pay: Up to ₹120,000.00 per month
