Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts
1. Job Purpose
The Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and finance operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely statutory compliance, effective cash flow management, vendor payments, customer collections, payroll support, reconciliations, and timely preparation of financial and management reports.
The role also involves maintaining proper documentation, supporting audits and tender-related requirements, coordinating with internal departments and external consultants, and ensuring that finance processes are completed accurately and within defined timelines.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and finance operations.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, payroll-related compliance, and other statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial discrepancies.
- Strong documentation and record-management skills.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Additional professional qualifications or certifications in accounting/finance will be an advantage.
Experience:
- GST: 3 years (Required)
- TDS: 3 years (Required)
- Accounts payable: 3 years (Required)
