About the Role
Cogniforge Technologies is looking for a passionate Computer Vision Engineer with hands-on experience in developing and deploying industrial vision inspection systems. The ideal candidate should have experience in computer vision, machine learning, and industrial camera-based applications, with the ability to work on real-world automation and inspection projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deploy computer vision and AI-based inspection solutions.
Build applications for defect detection, OCR, object detection, tracking, and classification.
Integrate industrial cameras, lighting systems, sensors, and PLCs for machine vision applications.
Train, evaluate, and optimize deep learning models for production environments.
Develop scalable and efficient applications using Python and computer vision frameworks.
Troubleshoot and optimize vision systems deployed at customer sites.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Required Skills
Strong programming skills in Python.
Hands-on experience with OpenCV and image processing techniques.
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Knowledge of object detection modules.
Understanding of industrial cameras, lighting, optics, and triggering mechanisms.
Familiarity with PLC communication and industrial automation concepts.
Experience with Git, APIs, and database fundamentals.

Desired Candidate Profile
B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, AI, Robotics, or related field.
2-4 years of relevant experience in Computer Vision and Machine Vision Systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work on real-world industrial deployments and customer-facing projects.
