We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Menswear Fashion Designer who possesses a strong understanding of luxury menswear, tailoring techniques, fabric innovation, and premium product development.
Position Overview
The Menswear Fashion Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing seasonal collections across formalwear, casualwear, linen collections, ceremonial wear, and signature House of Valerion luxury pieces.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in luxury tailoring, garment construction, trend forecasting, technical design, and product development while maintaining the distinctive House of Valerion aesthetic.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Collection Development
- Develop seasonal and annual menswear collections.
- Create innovative designs for:
- Formal Suits
- Blazers
- Trousers
- Shirts
- Linen Collections
- Smart Casual Wear
- Traditional Wear
- Luxury Occasion Wear
- Prepare collection mood boards and inspiration concepts.
- Conduct trend forecasting and market research.
- Develop unique silhouettes aligned with the House of Valerion identity.
- Create luxury capsule collections and limited-edition releases.
Technical Design & Product Development
- Prepare detailed technical sketches and flats.
- Create comprehensive Tech Packs for production.
- Develop measurement specifications and grading.
- Collaborate with pattern makers and sampling teams.
- Monitor garment fitting sessions and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure production feasibility without compromising design integrity.
Fabric & Trim Development
- Source premium fabrics and trims.
- Work with suppliers and mills to identify luxury materials.
- Evaluate fabric quality, durability, drape, and performance.
- Develop exclusive fabric stories for collections.
- Research sustainable and innovative fabric options.
Sampling & Production Coordination
- Oversee prototype development.
- Review samples and provide fit corrections.
- Ensure garment quality meets luxury brand standards.
- Coordinate with production teams to maintain timelines.
- Approve final production samples.
Brand & Creative Direction Support
- Maintain consistency with House of Valerion's design philosophy.
- Assist in campaign concepts and product storytelling.
- Support photoshoots and styling requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on product launches.
- Contribute ideas for luxury packaging and customer experience.
Required QualificationsEducation
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in:
- Fashion Design
- Apparel Design
- Fashion Technology
- Textile Design
Experience
- 2–6 years experience in menswear design.
- Prior experience with luxury or premium fashion brands preferred.
- Strong portfolio showcasing menswear collections.
- Experience in tailored clothing and luxury garments.

Salary Range
Fashion Designer: ₹35,000 – ₹80,000 per month
Senior Fashion Designer: ₹80,000 – ₹1,50,000 per month
Lead Menswear Designer: ₹1,50,000 – ₹3,00,000 per month
