Position: Senior Graphic Designer cum Social Media Executive
Job brief:
We are looking for a talented Senior Graphic Designer cum Social media Executive to be part of our creatives team. You will be responsible for:
- The entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, posters and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions, theatres and more.
- Creating original text, images, graphics, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.
As a Senior Graphic Designer cum Social media executive, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.
Ultimately, you should be able to handle our website updates and social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
1. Study design briefs and determine requirements.
2. Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
3. Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
4. Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software.
5. Use appropriate colours schemes and layouts for each graphic.
6. Work with the team and creative director to produce final design.
7. Design and Test graphics across various media.
8. Amend designs after feedback.
9. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
10. Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
11. Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
12. Set specific objectives and report on ROI.
13. Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news).
14. Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics.
15. Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency.
16. Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
17. Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout).
18. Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
19. Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
20. Other relevant job duties as per the job requirement which include data management, upload and download of materials and sharing files as per the requested specs.
21. Commutation with printers for all print media, hence print experience is a mandatory.
Requirements and Skills:
1. Proven graphic designing experience +6 yrs.
2. A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
3. Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Canva, Aftereffects and Premier Pro).
4. A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Ability to work methodically, driving the team and meet deadlines.
7. Proven Social media experience.
8. Hands on experience in content management.
9. Excellent copywriting skills.
10. Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).
11. Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.
12. Knowledge of online marketing channels.
13. Familiarity with web design.
14. Excellent communication skills.
15. Analytical and multitasking skills.
16. GraduateDegree with +6yrs experience working in an similar environment and have handled a team.
17. Degree in Animation, Design, Fine Arts, BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field is a plus.
Salary: Rs. 1,50,000 Per Month (Negotiable based on experience)
Office Timings: 10.30 AM to 7.00 PM (1st and 3rd Saturdays are working)
