Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of electrical control panels for industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical subject matter expert, ensuring that all power distribution and control systems are reliable, cost-effective, and compliant with global safety standards.
Key Responsibilities Electrical Panel Design & Engineering
- Design and develop electrical control panels, including PLC, VFD, MCC (Motor Control Center), and PCC panels.
- Prepare comprehensive electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), and panel layout drawings.
- Select, validate, and codify appropriate electrical components (breakers, relays, contactors, PLCs, power supplies) based on load calculations and application criteria.
- Perform electrical calculations including load calculations, cable sizing, and protection/selectivity coordination.
Documentation & Process Standardization
- Create and manage detailed Bill of Materials (BOM), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and terminal plans.
- Develop scalable design structures to support automated documentation generation in engineering software.
- Ensure all designs and documentation comply with relevant international and local standards.
Project Management & Leadership
- Interpret customer specifications and develop compliant, cost-effective system solutions.
- Lead design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance across multiple project teams.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and project management teams to ensure alignment on project timelines and budgets.
Quality Assurance & Commissioning
- Support production teams by providing technical oversight during panel assembly, wire harnessing, and testing.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and customer inspections to resolve any design issues.
- Provide technical assistance for on-site troubleshooting, installation, and final commissioning of electrical panels.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
