Job Summary
The Sales Executive – Building Materials is responsible for promoting and selling construction and building material products to contractors, builders, architects, developers, dealers, distributors, and retail customers. The role focuses on business development, customer relationship management, market expansion, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the building materials market.
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Promote and sell building material products such as cement, steel, tiles, paints, plywood, sanitary ware, waterproofing products, and other construction materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, consultants, dealers, and distributors.
- Conduct product presentations and provide technical information to customers.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Ensure timely order processing, delivery coordination, and payment collection.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular sales reports.
- Resolve customer concerns and provide after-sales support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of construction materials and industry practices is preferred.
Experience
- 3 + years of experience in building materials sales, construction product sales, industrial sales, or B2B sales.
- Experience dealing with builders, contractors, architects, and dealers is highly desirable.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
