We are looking for a dynamic Procurement Executive to strengthen our supply chain and procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure products, raw materials, packaging materials, and operational supplies from approved vendors.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and annual rate contracts.
- Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely order processing.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Operations, Finance, and Sales teams to maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Monitor stock availability and prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
- Track vendor performance on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and service levels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Conduct market research to identify new products, sourcing opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, purchase records, vendor databases, and MIS reports.
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, shortages, delayed deliveries, or invoice discrepancies.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to forecast procurement requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
- Experience in sourcing FMCG products and consumables.
- Strong analytical and cost optimization abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Procurement software.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and meet procurement deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, Supply Chain, or Vending Machine industries.
- Hands-on experience in vendor development, procurement planning, and purchase order management.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
- Candidates must be willing to travel daily to our Andheri East, Mumbai office.
