Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including daily sales reconciliations, purchase invoices, and inventory valuations for silver stock and finished jewellery.
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, ensuring timely payments to vendors for raw materials (e.g., silver, gems) and collections from B2B clients.
- Manage GST compliance, TDS deductions, and filing returns, with expertise in jewellery industry-specific exemptions and HSN codes.
- Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and inventory systems like Ginesys or Genesis to track metal weight, making charges, and wastage.
- Generate monthly/quarterly financial reports, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses for management review.
- Conduct internal audits for stock discrepancies, cost audits for manufacturing processes, and support year-end statutory audits.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for store expansions, marketing campaigns, and festival-season inventory buildup.
- Collaborate with sales, purchase, and HR teams for payroll processing, expense approvals, and MIS reporting.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or M.Com; CA Inter or CMA Inter preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting, ideally in jewellery retail/manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel (advanced formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables), and inventory software like Ginesys.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), GST, and jewellery-specific regulations (e.g., hallmarking).
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle high-volume transactions during peak seasons like Diwali or wedding rushes.
- Good communication skills for vendor negotiations and team coordination.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
