### **Job Summary:**
The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the hospital’s financial operations, including accounting, billing, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and cash flow management. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

### **Key Responsibilities:**
**1. Financial Accounting & Reporting**
* Maintain accurate books of accounts (day-to-day accounting entries)
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
* Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability
* Ensure timely closing of accounts
**2. Billing & Revenue Management**
* Oversee patient billing (IPD/OPD) and ensure accuracy
* Monitor insurance/TPA billing and reconciliation
* Track receivables and follow up for outstanding payments
**3. Payables & Vendor Management**
* Verify and process vendor invoices
* Ensure timely payments to vendors and service providers
* Maintain proper records of all payables
**4. Statutory Compliance**
* Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory regulations
* Handle tax filings, returns, and audits
* Coordinate with auditors (internal & external)
**5. Budgeting & Cost Control**
* Assist in preparation of annual budgets
* Monitor budget vs actual expenses
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks
**6. Cash Flow Management**
* Monitor cash flow and maintain adequate liquidity
* Manage bank transactions, reconciliations, and fund planning
**7. Audit & Controls**
* Facilitate internal and external audits
* Implement financial controls and processes
* Ensure compliance with NABH and financial policies
**8. Team Management**
* Supervise accounts executives and billing staff
* Provide guidance and ensure timely task completion

### **Qualifications:**
* B.Com / M.Com / CA (Inter) / MBA Finance
* CA (preferred but not mandatory)

### **Experience:**
* 3–10 years of experience in accounting/finance
* Minimum 2–3 years in hospital or healthcare industry preferred
