Amity Global School, Gurugram is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Librarian to lead and manage its library and learning resource center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the school library and digital learning resources
- Develop and maintain an engaging collection of books, journals, and e-resources
- Promote reading habits and information literacy among students
- Organize book fairs, reading programs, author interactions, and literary events
- Guide students and staff in research and resource utilization
- Oversee library automation, cataloguing, circulation, and inventory management
-Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum and project-based learning
Qualifications:
✅ Master's Degree in Library & Information Science (MLISc/M.Lib.)
✅ Relevant certifications in library management and digital resources preferred
✅ Strong knowledge of library automation software and digital databases
✅ Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience:
✅ Minimum 8–12 years of experience in a reputed school or educational institution
✅ Experience in managing a modern school library and leading a library team preferred
