Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to students in Grades 3, 4, and 5, following the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. The teacher will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and global awareness while ensuring alignment with Cambridge learning objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and teach Social Science lessons in line with Cambridge standards for Grades 3–5.
- Lesson Planning: Develop age-appropriate lesson plans, activities, and projects that encourage inquiry-based learning.
- Student Engagement: Use interactive methods (debates, role-play, group work) to make history, geography, and civics relatable.
- Assessment: Design formative and summative assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
- Parental Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student performance and progress.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with Cambridge teaching methodologies and attend training sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or related field.
- Teaching certification (preferably Cambridge or international curriculum experience).
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at primary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching.
