Product Designer (UI/UX)
Key Responsibilities
- User & Market Research: Conduct user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitive analysis to uncover customer needs, pain points, motivations, and behavioral insights that inform product decisions.
- User Experience & Conversion Optimization: Design seamless user journeys, onboarding experiences, checkout flows, and conversion funnels that improve customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile platforms using modern design tools.
- UI & Interaction Design: Craft intuitive, visually engaging, and accessible interfaces with thoughtful micro-interactions that enhance usability, strengthen brand perception, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Data-Driven Design: Leverage analytics, user behavior data, heatmaps, session recordings, and A/B testing insights to continuously optimize product performance and user engagement.
- Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain scalable design systems, ensuring consistency across products and platforms.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Growth, Marketing, and Business teams to translate user needs and business objectives into impactful product experiences.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging UX trends, consumer behavior, accessibility standards, and design best practices to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products, B2C applications, D2C platforms, or e-commerce experiences.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, including user research, UX thinking, interaction design, visual design, and measurable business or user impact.
- Design Expertise: Proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and design systems. Experience with AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Claude Design) is an added advantage.
- Analytics & Experimentation: Working knowledge of tools such as Hotjar, Mixpanel, Google Analytics (GA4), and A/B testing platforms to make data-informed design decisions.
- UX Fundamentals: Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, user psychology, accessibility (WCAG), usability principles, and responsive design.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in fast-paced startups or high-growth consumer internet companies.
- Exposure to growth design, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and experimentation frameworks.
- Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML/CSS) is a plus.
- Passion for creating intuitive, customer-centric digital experiences backed by data and user insights.
