Job Summary
The Finance Head will be responsible for leading and managing the organization's entire finance and accounting functions, ensuring financial stability, statutory compliance, accurate reporting, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate should have 10–15+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with strong expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, Finalization of Accounts, P&L, Budgeting, Payroll, Cash Flow Management, Internal Controls, and Financial Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Lead and oversee the Finance & Accounts Department.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Finalize Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Develop financial strategies to support organizational growth.
- Present financial reports to the Managing Director and Board of Directors.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Review and approve GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns).
- Supervise TDS deductions, payments, and quarterly return filings.
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Handle notices and assessments from GST and Income Tax departments.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget utilization across departments.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Support management in strategic financial planning and expansion initiatives.
MIS & Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS reports for management.
- Analyze financial performance, profitability, and operational costs.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and key financial indicators.
- Provide recommendations for cost reduction and improved profitability.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Manage banking relationships and financial facilities.
- Oversee bank reconciliations and treasury operations.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors and statutory authorities.
Payroll & Financial Controls
- Supervise payroll processing and statutory deductions.
- Review salary statements before payroll release.
- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls.
- Develop and implement finance policies and SOPs.
Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Monitor collections and outstanding receivables.
- Ensure timely vendor payments.
- Review customer and vendor reconciliations.
- Improve receivable collection efficiency.
Audit & Risk Management
- Coordinate internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Recommend improvements in internal control systems.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor performance.
- Coordinate with HR, Operations, and Administration for financial matters.
- Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Preferred
- CMA / ICWA – Preferred
- MBA (Finance) / M.Com with relevant experience
- Minimum 8 –15+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in independently managing the finance function of a medium or large organization.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and statutory compliance.
- Expertise in finalization of accounts, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.
- Excellent understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, dashboards).
- Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
