PURPOSE
To lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced mechatronics and robotic
systems, managing technical teams to ensure high-quality project execution,
innovation, and alignment with client needs in aerospace and related sectors.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee end-to-end design, development, testing, and optimization of robotic
systems, prototypes, and mechatronics solutions using CAD, simulation tools
(e.g., MATLAB/Simulink), and integration protocols (e.g., CANBUS, ROS, Gazebo).
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers in debugging, troubleshooting, and
implementing best practices like Design Thinking, Kanban, Kaizen, and Six Sigma
for efficient project delivery.
- Drive technical strategy, conduct design reviews, and ensure compliance with
industry standards (e.g., AS9100 for aerospace) while innovating on sensors,
actuators, motors, and IoT integrations.
- Collaborate with business development to translate client requirements into
feasible technical proposals and manage project timelines, budgets, and risks.
- Foster knowledge-sharing, conduct performance reviews, and build team
capabilities through training on tools like C/C++, Python, Ladder programming,
and hardware testing (CRO, multimeters).
- Monitor project metrics, prepare technical reports, and represent the technical
function in client meetings and industry forums.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: BE/BTech or Master's in Mechatronics, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering,
or equivalent.
Work Experience: 8-12 years in mechatronics/robotics development, with 4+ years in
leadership roles managing engineering teams.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Expertise in circuit design, power electronics, sensor/actuator integration, ROS,
Gazebo, and communication protocols (CANBUS, TCP/IP, RS232).
- Proficiency in programming (C/C++, Python, Java, assembler) and simulation
software (MATLAB/Simulink Mechatronics package).
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication
skills; experience with quality methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Familiarity with aerospace/mechatronics industry trends and standards.
- Willingness to travel for client/vendor meetings (up to 20%).
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
