About the Role
The Digital Marketing Manager at Gemius is the person who owns the performance of a brand's digital presence, not just one channel, but all of them. This is not a role for someone who understands digital marketing in theory. It is a role for someone who has done the work, lived inside the data, and knows how to turn numbers into decisions.
You will own SEO and paid advertising across Meta, Google, and other platforms, simultaneously, across multiple brands. You will work closely with content writers, creative teams, brand managers, and web teams to ensure every digital touchpoint is optimised, every campaign is performing, and every client is seeing results.
Key Responsibilities
SEO
- Drive organic growth across client websites through technical SEO, on-page optimisation, off-page strategy, and content planning.
- Conduct in-depth audits, keyword research, and competitive analysis across multiple brand categories.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion data and translate findings into clear action plans.
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates and adapt strategies proactively before rankings are impacted.
- Collaborate with the content team to brief and guide SEO-aligned content.
Paid Advertising - Meta, Google & Beyond
- Plan, set up, execute, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Own the full funnel, from awareness to conversion, with a clear focus on ROAS, CPL, and CPA targets.
- Build audience strategies, set up A/B tests, and scale what is working without wasting budget.
- Brief the creative team on ad content requirements, formats, hooks, messaging, and visuals built to perform.
- Review ad performance regularly and make data-driven decisions quickly.
Reporting & Analytics
- Deliver clear, actionable monthly reports to clients and internal teams, no jargon, just insights and next steps.
- Use Google Analytics, Search Console, Meta Ads Manager, and other tools to track and interpret performance.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities across accounts and act on them without waiting to be asked.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with brand managers, content writers, designers, and web teams to ensure digital strategy and execution are aligned.
- Translate performance data into creative and content briefs that the team can act on.
- Contribute to overall brand strategy discussions with a digital and performance lens.

- SEO-obsessed - you understand that organic growth is a long game and you play it with patience and precision.
- Data-literate - you can read a dashboard, find the story in it, and decide what to do next.
- Collaborative - brief creatives well, communicate clearly with clients, and work without silos.
- Proactive - you flag opportunities and issues before anyone has to ask.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing with strong expertise in both SEO and paid advertising. Agency experience is strongly preferred.
