Assistant Teacher (Play School & Day Care)
Job Summary
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and responsible Assistant Teacher to support classroom activities and help create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment for young children.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in conducting daily classroom activities and lessons.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and indoor/outdoor activities.
- Help prepare learning materials, art projects, and classroom displays.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Support children in developing social, emotional, and communication skills.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Assist with feeding, hygiene routines, and basic care when required.
- Communicate politely with parents regarding daily updates when needed.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, and educational activities.
- Follow school policies and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: 12th Pass or Graduate (Diploma in Early Childhood Education is an advantage).
- Prior experience in a play school, preschool, or daycare is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills and a friendly personality.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Basic computer and smartphone skills are an added advantage.
