About the Role
Stark Engineering is urgently seeking an experienced and visionary BIM Manager to lead and drive our Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategy for a major client project based at Technopark Phase-3, Trivandrum.
This leadership role is responsible for establishing BIM standards, governance frameworks, execution strategies, and ensuring seamless coordination across Architectural, Structural, and multidisciplinary project teams. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end BIM lifecycle, ensuring efficient project delivery, data integrity, and compliance with international BIM standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesBIM Strategy & Process Development
- Develop, implement, and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP), BIM Standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Establish BIM governance frameworks and best practices across projects.
- Define project-specific BIM workflows, deliverables, and quality standards.
- Lead BIM implementation strategies aligned with client requirements and industry standards.
Cross-Disciplinary BIM Leadership
- Lead and coordinate BIM activities across Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Ensure seamless collaboration and data exchange between multidisciplinary teams.
- Facilitate coordination meetings and resolve model integration issues.
- Support project teams in achieving BIM deliverables and project milestones.
Technology & Innovation Management
- Define and manage BIM software environments and technology infrastructure.
- Establish and maintain Common Data Environments (CDE) using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.
- Lead clash detection, coordination reviews, and model validation processes.
- Evaluate and implement emerging BIM technologies and digital construction solutions.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Conduct model audits and quality reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure adherence to international BIM standards, client specifications, and company procedures.
- Monitor BIM deliverables against project timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Develop quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and develop BIM Coordinators, BIM Leads, and BIM Modelers.
- Promote BIM best practices and continuous learning within the organization.
- Support recruitment, training, and performance development of BIM personnel.
Requirements & QualificationsExperience
- 6+ years of experience in BIM implementation, coordination, and project delivery.
- At least 3 years of experience in a BIM leadership or managerial role.
- Proven experience leading BIM execution on large-scale Architectural and Structural projects.
Technical Expertise
- Strong expertise in Architectural and Structural BIM workflows and design integration.
- Comprehensive understanding of BIM standards, project execution planning, and model coordination.
- Experience with Common Data Environments (CDE) and collaborative BIM delivery processes.
Software Proficiency
- Expert-level proficiency in:
- Autodesk Revit
- Autodesk Navisworks
- Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- BIM 360
- Model coordination and workflow management tools
Leadership & Communication Skills
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and client-facing presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and project priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- BIM-related certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience working on international BIM projects is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards is preferred.
Location Requirement
- Must be willing to work full-time on-site at Technopark Phase-3, Trivandrum, Kerala.
