About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Onboarding & Compliance Specialist to join our HR team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process for healthcare professionals while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company-specific requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience in HR onboarding, credentialing, compliance, or healthcare administration. Candidates with knowledge of US employment compliance, healthcare regulations, or a legal background are highly preferred, though not mandatory. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, has exceptional attention to detail, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Onboarding
· Coordinate the complete onboarding process for newly hired healthcare professionals.
· Ensure all required onboarding documents are completed accurately and within established timelines.
· Track onboarding progress and communicate regularly with candidates regarding outstanding requirements.
· Conduct virtual onboarding sessions and provide new hires with an overview of company policies and procedures.
· Coordinate with HR, Recruiting, Payroll, IT, Clinical, and Operations teams to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
Compliance & Credentialing
· Review and verify employee documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
· Monitor compliance requirements, including professional licenses, certifications, CPR, TB testing, physical examinations, immunization records, background checks, I-9 documentation, and other employment-related records.
· Track document expiration dates and coordinate timely renewals.
· Maintain accurate compliance records within HR systems and electronic personnel files.
· Ensure employee files are complete, organized, and audit-ready at all times.
· Support internal and external compliance audits by preparing and providing required documentation.
Documentation & Record Management
· Maintain confidential employee records while ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
· Update HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and compliance trackers.
· Generate onboarding and compliance reports for leadership as needed.
· Ensure all documentation is stored securely and in accordance with company policies.
Communication & Collaboration
· Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding and compliance-related inquiries.
· Collaborate with recruiters to ensure a seamless transition from hiring to onboarding.
· Partner with clinical leadership and operations teams to ensure employees meet compliance requirements before their start date.
· Follow up proactively with candidates regarding missing or expiring documentation.
Process Improvement
· Identify opportunities to improve onboarding workflows and compliance processes.
· Assist in developing and updating onboarding checklists, SOPs, and compliance documentation.
· Recommend process enhancements that improve efficiency and the new hire experience.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Law, or a related field.
· 1–3 years of experience in HR, onboarding, compliance, credentialing, healthcare administration, or a related role preferred.
· Experience supporting US healthcare organizations or US staffing/recruitment is an advantage.
· Strong understanding of HR documentation and record management.
· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
· Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
· High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
· Knowledge of US employment compliance, healthcare regulations, or onboarding requirements.
· Educational background in Law or Legal Studies is preferred but not required.
· Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, or credentialing platforms.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and document management systems.
· Experience working with Home Health, Hospice, or Healthcare organizations is a plus.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
