We are looking for : Cloud Solutions Architect
- Design secure, scalable public cloud solutions aligned with IT standards, architecture guidelines, and corporate strategy.
- Enable secure public cloud adoption across Siemens internal teams, business units, affiliates, and shared service teams.
- Guide implementation and operations teams through the full project and service lifecycle.
- Evaluate solution options and define the best technical approach to meet business demand.
- Document as-is architecture, target-state vision, interfaces, and key architecture decisions with clear artefacts.
- Identify technical debts, unavoidable deviations, and improvement opportunities to reduce long-term complexity.
- Support operations teams to minimise risks and resolve performance, interoperability, and service issues.
- Sign off IT solutions before deployment, ensuring compliance with architecture principles, standards, and guidelines.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 3-5 years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, with working knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and core public cloud services.
- Experience designing resilient, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures leveraging microservices, event-driven, serverless, and cloud-native design patterns.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, network security, WAF, DDoS protection, SIEM integration, GDPR compliance, and least-privilege access models.
- Experience optimizing cloud environments through FinOps practices, tagging strategies, cost governance, capacity planning, and cloud cost management tools.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, OpenTofu, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), and version-controlled deployment templates.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python, PowerShell, Bash, GitHub, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and/or AWS CodePipeline.
- Experience supporting hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including VPNs, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Kubernetes, disaster recovery strategies, and incident management
