Job Title: Marketing & Sales Executive
Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and target-driven Marketing & Sales Executive to join our growing frozen food manufacturing business. This position is open to freshers with a passion for sales or candidates with 1–3 years of experience in FMCG, food products, or retail sales.
In this role, you will be the face of our brand in the market. You will be responsible for driving field sales, identifying and onboarding new retail stores, supermarkets, and distributors, and running local marketing activations to ensure our frozen products fly off the shelves.
Key Responsibilities
- B2B Client Acquisition: Identify, visit, and pitch our frozen food product line to potential retail outlets, modern trade supermarkets, standalone grocery stores, and local distributors.
- Territory Sales & Target Achievement: Drive primary sales (to distributors) and secondary sales (to retailers) within your assigned territory to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Relationship Management: Maintain regular contact with onboarded retail partners and distributors to take re-orders, collect payments on time, and handle service queries.
- Merchandising & Visibility: Ensure our products are prominently displayed in store freezers, point-of-sale marketing materials are placed correctly, and stock levels are maintained.
- Local Marketing & Sampling: Organize and execute B2C marketing activations, such as setting up weekend product tasting/sampling stalls in supermarkets to drive customer awareness.
- Market Feedback: Monitor competitor prices, packaging, and new product launches, and report insights back to the management team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or any related field (BBA / B.Com / MBA-Marketing).
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience. Prior experience in field sales for food products, beverages, FMCG, or HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes) is a major advantage.
- Mobility: Must own a two-wheeler and possess a valid driving license, as this is a field-intensive sales role.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication and persuasive negotiation skills. Fluency in local languages is highly preferred to build rapport with store owners.
- Attitude: Highly resilient, energetic, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a target-driven field environment.
