Powertrac Corporation is a growing company in the field of power solutions and solar energy systems, providing end-to-end solutions from requirement analysis to supply and installation. We work with corporates, institutions, and government clients across platforms like GeM and Ariba.
Role Overview
We are looking for a sharp, proactive techno-commercial professional who can handle the complete customer journey — from understanding requirements to closing sales and ensuring successful execution.
This role combines technical understanding, sales ownership, and tendering expertise.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Interaction & Solutioning
- Understand customer requirements and applications
- Recommend suitable power/solar solutions based on technical needs
- Handle customer queries and provide technical clarifications
Proposals & Sales Execution
- Prepare quotations and proposals using internal CRM systems
- Follow up on submitted quotations and drive order closures
- Negotiate and convert leads into confirmed business
Tendering & Platforms
- Work on GeM Portal (Government e-Marketplace) for bidding and order management
- Participate in Ariba / e-procurement platforms for RFQs and tenders
- Prepare and submit tender documents and compliance requirements
Order Processing & Execution
- Process confirmed orders and coordinate with vendors
- Place purchase orders and follow up for timely delivery
- Coordinate with service team for installation and completion
CRM & Process Management
- Maintain accurate data in CRM systems
- Use Google Workspace tools for documentation and coordination
- Continuously improve internal processes for efficiency
Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical & Functional Skills
- Basic understanding of electrical / power / solar systems
- Ability to match products with customer requirements
- Knowledge of UPS, batteries, inverters, or solar systems is preferred
Sales & Communication Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle clients and close deals
- Problem-solving mindset and ownership attitude
Platforms & Tools
- Experience with GeM Portal (preferred)
- Exposure to Ariba or similar e-procurement platforms (added advantage)
- Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Excel / Google Sheets
