Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive, organized, and people-oriented Event HR Executive to manage all human resource functions related to event operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting, coordinating, and managing event staff while ensuring smooth communication, compliance, and workforce efficiency before, during, and after events.
Key Responsibilities - Recruitment & Staffing
- Recruit and onboard event staff, promoters, hosts, volunteers, coordinators, and temporary workers.
- Build and maintain a database of freelancers and event professionals.
- Schedule interviews and conduct employee screening.
- Coordinate manpower requirements with the event operations team.
Employee Management
- Prepare staff rosters and duty assignments.
- Maintain employee attendance and shift records.
- Handle staff documentation, contracts, and onboarding formalities.
- Manage employee discipline and resolve workplace issues professionally.
Training & Development
- Conduct orientation sessions for new employees.
- Train staff on company policies, customer service standards, and event protocols.
- Ensure all team members understand their responsibilities before each event.
Event Coordination
- Coordinate manpower allocation for every event.
- Ensure adequate staffing at all venues.
- Monitor staff performance during events.
- Arrange replacement staff in case of emergencies or absenteeism.
Payroll & Administration
- Maintain attendance records for payroll processing.
- Verify timesheets and overtime.
- Coordinate salary payments for permanent and temporary staff.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Promote workplace safety and professional conduct.
Performance Management
- Evaluate employee performance after each event.
- Collect feedback from event managers.
- Recommend recognition, training, or corrective action where required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of HR experience, preferably in the event, hospitality, or service industry.
- Experience in recruiting temporary or event-based staff is an advantage.
