Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Senior Student Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective learners, understanding their career goals, and helping them choose the right courses and learning paths.
This role requires excellent communication, strong counseling abilities, and proven experience in admissions, academic counseling, or education sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and working professionals regarding courses, career opportunities, and learning pathways
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs
- Handle inbound and outbound leads through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other channels
- Follow up with prospective learners and convert inquiries into enrollments
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students throughout the admission process
- Coordinate with academic and operations teams for smooth onboarding
- Maintain accurate lead and student data in CRM/reports
- Support junior counselors and assist in improving counseling processes
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Academic Counseling / Education Sales / Admission Counseling
- Freshers are not eligible
- Strong communication, negotiation, and convincing skills
- Ability to understand learner psychology and career goals
- Proven track record in lead conversion and target achievement
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and reporting
- Fluency in English and Malayalam preferred
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
