JOB DESCRIPTION
DESIGNATION: MANUAL & AUTOMATION TESTING ENGINEER
We are looking for a skilled Manual & Automation Testing Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive testing practices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both manual testing methodologies and automation frameworks, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering defect-free software.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Hands-on experience in Android and iOS app automation using Appium, JavaScript, Playwright, and WebDriver IO.
● Proficient in creating and maintaining test environments using Android Studio and XCode IDEs.
● Strong working knowledge of MAC book configuration, MAC/Linux OS commands, and related setups.
● Experience with CI/CD tools such as GIT, Jenkins, etc.
● Skilled in designing, developing, and executing manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
● Expertise in creating, maintaining, and executing automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
● Proficient in performing functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
● Strong experience in preparation and execution of test strategy, test plans, and test specifications using Jira and Xray.
● Competence in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Trello).
● Active collaboration with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
● Solid understanding and practical experience in working with Agile methodology.
● Participation in test planning, requirement analysis, and risk assessment.
● Development and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports.
● Ensuring continuous integration and testing within agile environments.
● Proactive in managing workload with a focus on continuous improvement for the QA team and processes.
● Ability to suggest and implement process improvements to enhance testing efficiency.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
REQUIREMENTS
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
● Proven experience in manual testing and automation testing.
● Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
● Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium, etc.).
● Knowledge of scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar) for test automation.
● Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, GitLab CI, etc.).
● Experience in API testing using Postman/RestAssured.
● Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
● Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments.
GOOD TO HAVE
● Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
● Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
● Experience in mobile app testing (Android & iOS).
