Pre-Primary Teacher (Nursery/JR. KG/SR. KG)
Role Overview
A Pre-Primary is responsible for the overall development, care, and early education of young children. The teacher creates a safe, warm, and engaging learning environment that supports children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Classroom Management
- Maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Arrange learning materials and activity areas.
- Supervise children at all times during school hours.
- Manage classroom routines such as arrival, snack time, and departure.
2. Teaching & Learning Activities
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate learning activities.
- Teach basic concepts such as:
- Alphabets
- Numbers
- Colors
- Shapes
- Rhymes and stories
- Use creative teaching methods like:
- Storytelling
- Singing rhymes
- Art and craft
- Games and play-based learning
- Encourage curiosity and participation.
3. Child Care & Emotional Support
- Provide emotional comfort and support to children.
- Help children develop social skills such as sharing and cooperation.
- Assist with basic hygiene and self-care habits.
- Observe children for behavioral or developmental concerns.
4. Assessment & Record Keeping
- Monitor children's progress and development.
- Maintain records such as:
- Attendance
- Progress reports
- Activity records
- Provide feedback to parents on child development.
5. Communication with Parents
- Interact with parents regularly regarding child performance.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings.
- Share updates about classroom activities and student progress.
6. School Participation
- Participate in school events, celebrations, and activities.
- Help organize functions such as:
- Annual Day
- Sports Day
- Festivals and celebrations
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff.

Educational Qualification (Typical)
- Minimum: 12th Pass
- Preferred:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
- Nursery Teacher Training (NTT)
- Montessori Training
