The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests at various events, ensuring a memorable and seamless experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Set up event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, cutlery, glassware, and decorations according to event specifications and floor plans.
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements or directions as needed.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional, timely, and courteous manner, following established service standards and protocols.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and courteously to all requests and inquiries.
- Clear tables efficiently, removing used dishes, glassware, and other items, and ensure the dining area remains clean and organized throughout the event.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of food and beverage items as instructed, ensuring quality and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Handle and transport trays of food and beverages safely and steadily.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other event team members to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, including service stations and back-of-house areas.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Assist with the breakdown of event spaces, including cleaning up, packing equipment, and ensuring the venue is left in excellent condition.
- Provide support to other team members as required to ensure the overall success of the event.
