Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Procurement Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in construction procurement. The role involves supporting procurement activities, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely availability of materials as per project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in procurement planning in line with project schedules
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to vendors
- Evaluate quotations and prepare comparative statements
- Coordinate with project teams to understand material specifications
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Maintain procurement records, documentation, and vendor database
- Support cost control and value engineering initiatives
- Ensure procurement activities align with project budgets and company policies
- Assist in vendor evaluation and performance tracking
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in procurement within the construction industry
Required Skills
- Knowledge of construction materials and market rates
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills
- Basic negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

- Calicut, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
