About the Role:
The Data Science Intern will get hands-on experience in data analysis, data visualization, machine learning, and real-time data-driven projects. This internship provides an opportunity to work with datasets, understand business problems, develop analytical solutions, and gain practical industry exposure.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources
- Analyze datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights
- Perform data visualization and prepare reports
- Assist in developing and testing machine learning models
- Apply statistical techniques for data analysis
- Work with Python-based data science tools and libraries
- Support data-driven decision-making through analysis
- Prepare documentation and present findings
- Collaborate with the technical team on live projects
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Python programming
- Understanding of data analysis concepts and statistics
- Familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Scikit-learn
- Basic knowledge of machine learning algorithms
- Understanding of data cleaning and preprocessing techniques
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts is an added advantage
- Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new technologies and techniques
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Eligibility:
- Freshers and students from Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, IT, or related fields can apply
- Candidates with basic programming and analytical knowledge are preferred
- Candidates must be from Nagercoil
