We are looking for a seasoned backend developer who thrives in building scalable, cloud-native applications. You will architect and deliver robust APIs and services— while actively leveraging AI tools to accelerate development cycles and improve code quality.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js)
- Architecting and deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS using services such as ECS, EC2, and S3
- Strong experience in REST API development
- Integrating AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) into daily workflows for code generation, review, and documentation
- Participating in architectural planning, code reviews, and sprint ceremonies with clear and concise technical communication
- Monitoring, debugging, and optimizing system performance across cloud environments and backend services
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience in production environments
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js for server-side development
- Solid experience with MongoDB/DynamoDB, including schema design, indexing, and aggregation pipelines
- Practical AWS experience with ECS, EC2, S3, and other commonly used AWS services in production environments
- Demonstrated experience using AI coding assistants in a professional setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and version control systems such as Git
- Experience with TypeScript in backend environments
- Knowledge of AWS Lambda, RDS, and infrastructure tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
- Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems
