VEENUS is a interior building materials manufacturing company based in Kerala, specializing in PVC ceiling panels, wall panels, louvers, doors and laminated sheets.
We are looking for a Maintenance Head to oversee all plant machinery, utilities, and maintenance operations. The role includes ensuring smooth production flow by minimizing breakdowns, managing preventive maintenance schedules. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting machine issues, improving equipment efficiency, maintaining spare parts inventory, and ensuring safety standards in the plant. Strong experience in industrial maintenance is required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee complete plant maintenance operations (mechanical, electrical & utilities)
- Plan and execute preventive & predictive maintenance programs to reduce breakdowns
- Handle breakdown maintenance with quick troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Supervise die changeover operations and ensure proper machine setup
- Coordinate with production team for smooth extrusion line running
- Monitor machine condition and implement predictive maintenance practices (vibration, temperature, wear analysis)
- Manage electrical systems, panels, motors, drives, and control systems
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of all plant machinery
- Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and downtime analysis
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance planning
- Support machine installation, commissioning, and improvements
Requirements:
- Strong experience in industrial maintenance (PVC / plastic extrusion manufacturing preferred)
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
- Experience in die changeovers and extrusion line setup
- Hands-on exposure to preventive & predictive maintenance systems
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good understanding of production flow and downtime reduction
