Job Summary
The Senior HR Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations while ensuring that all HR processes are implemented effectively across the organization. The role includes recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, attendance management, performance coordination, statutory compliance, HR documentation, and supporting business growth through efficient people management. The Senior HR Executive also supervises junior HR staff and ensures smooth execution of HR policies.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for all departments.
- Prepare and publish job advertisements on recruitment portals and social media.
- Screen resumes and shortlist suitable candidates.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with department heads.
- Conduct preliminary interviews.
- Verify candidate documents and references.
- Negotiate salary within approved budgets.
- Issue offer letters and coordinate joining formalities.
- Maintain a recruitment tracker and hiring reports.
- Build and maintain a database of potential candidates.
2. Employee Onboarding & Induction
- Coordinate joining formalities.
- Collect all employment documents.
- Prepare employee files.
- Conduct induction and orientation sessions.
- Explain company policies and code of conduct.
- Coordinate ID cards, uniforms, and system access.
- Ensure successful completion of probation documentation.
3. HR Operations
- Maintain employee records and HRIS.
- Update employee database regularly.
- Manage attendance and leave records.
- Monitor shift allocations where applicable.
- Process employee confirmations, transfers, promotions, and resignations.
- Prepare employment-related letters and certificates.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee information.
4. Performance Management
- Coordinate probation reviews.
- Monitor employee performance evaluations.
- Follow up with department managers on appraisal schedules.
- Maintain performance records.
- Support implementation of KPIs and KRAs.
- Identify training requirements based on performance reviews.
5. Employee Relations
- Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns.
- Handle grievances professionally.
- Conduct counselling sessions where required.
- Promote a positive workplace culture.
- Support conflict resolution.
- Organize employee engagement activities.
6. Training & Development
- Identify training needs.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Maintain training records.
- Evaluate training effectiveness.
- Support leadership development initiatives.
7. HR Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
- Maintain statutory HR records.
- Coordinate audits related to HR.
- Ensure proper documentation for inspections.
- Assist management in disciplinary procedures.
- Maintain employee confidentiality.
8. Payroll Support
- Verify attendance and leave records before payroll processing.
- Coordinate with the Accounts department for salary processing.
- Maintain overtime records.
- Verify incentive calculations.
- Ensure timely submission of payroll inputs.
9. Exit Management
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Process resignations.
- Coordinate full and final settlements.
- Collect company assets.
- Complete exit documentation.
- Analyse employee turnover trends.
10. HR Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports.
- Maintain recruitment MIS.
- Track attrition and retention metrics.
- Report manpower status.
- Maintain HR dashboards for management.
11. Team Leadership
- Guide and support HR Assistants and HR Executives.
- Delegate HR tasks effectively.
- Monitor team performance.
- Ensure timely completion of HR activities.
- Train junior HR team members.

Qualification
- MBA in Human Resources / MSW / PGDM (HR) or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience
- 4–7 years of HR experience.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, food & beverage, or multi-location operations is preferred.
- Prior experience supervising junior HR staff is an advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
