Position: Primary Teacher (PRT) – Social Studies

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and student-centered Primary Social Studies Teacher to inspire young learners and develop their understanding of society, culture, geography, history, citizenship, and environmental awareness. The candidate should be capable of making Social Studies engaging through activities, projects, storytelling, and experiential learning approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Social Studies to primary classes as per the CBSE curriculum and NEP 2020 guidelines.
- Develop engaging lesson plans that promote inquiry, critical thinking, and real-world connections.
- Integrate experiential learning, project-based learning, and activity-based teaching methodologies.
- Foster awareness of civic values, cultural diversity, environmental responsibility, and national heritage.
- Use technology and digital tools to enhance classroom learning.
- Conduct assessments, maintain student records, and provide constructive feedback.
- Organize educational activities, exhibitions, field visits, assemblies, and co-curricular programs.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership for holistic student development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, or related field.
- D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed. or equivalent teacher training qualification.
- CTET (Primary Level) qualified preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in English and basic computer applications.
