Key Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections for PEB structures.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Monitor fabrication activities like cutting, welding, drilling, and assembly.
- Conduct welding inspections as per WPS/PQR and relevant standards.
- Handle NDT activities (UT,MPT, DP, etc.) if applicable.
- Prepare and maintain quality documents (ITP, QAP, checklists, reports).
- Identify and control non-conformities (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions.
- Coordinate with production, design, and site teams for quality improvements.
- Ensure adherence to ISO standards and internal quality procedures.
- Support client inspections and audits.
- Monitor surface preparation, painting, and dispatch quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical.
- Strong knowledge of PEB fabrication and erection processes.
- Familiar with IS / AWS / ASTM standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of welding inspection and quality control tools.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel & QA documentation.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in NDT Level II is an added advantage.
- Experience in handling client audits and third-party inspections.
- Exposure to paint inspection / coating standards.
