About the Role:
We are looking for a QA Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience to join our team in Surat. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent attention to detail, and practical experience in testing web applications.
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, usability, and reliability of our applications by identifying issues, validating fixes, and working closely with the development team throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and basic automation testing of web and mobile applications.
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Conduct functional, regression, UI/UX, cross-browser, and API testing.
- Perform end-to-end testing to ensure applications meet business requirements.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing.
- Perform API testing using Postman.
- Use basic SQL queries for data validation.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, testing activities, and release cycles.
- Ensure product quality before releases.
- Maintain clear documentation of testing activities, defects, and results.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of professional experience in QA/Software Testing.
- Hands-on experience with web application testing is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Good knowledge of test case design and bug life cycle.
- Experience with functional and regression testing.
- Hands-on experience with Postman/API testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with Jira, ClickUp, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of Git/version control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Experience testing e-commerce or Shopify applications.
- Exposure to JMeter/performance testing.
- Experience with Android/iOS mobile application testing.
- Basic knowledge of automation frameworks or scripting.
