DIGI MART is a growing retail business with showrooms in Nagercoil and Thuckalay, specializing in Appliances, Electronics, Mobiles, Laptops, Furniture & Décor.
We are looking for an experienced Internal Auditor to strengthen our financial controls, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits across business operations and accounts.
- Verify daily sales, purchases, stock, expenses, and financial transactions.
- Monitor compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
- Review cash flow, receivables, payables, and financial controls.
- Identify risks, process gaps, leakages, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
- Coordinate with Accounts, Store Operations, and Management teams.
- Ensure accuracy of records maintained in Tally and related systems.
- Support management with financial monitoring and business insights.
Requirements
Mandatory
- Minimum 5+ years experience in Accounts and Internal Auditing.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Experience in finance monitoring and reporting.
- Good knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (reports, formulas, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred
- Experience in retail, trading, appliances, electronics, or FMCG sectors.
- Knowledge of inventory controls and stock audits.
- Commerce degree (B.Com / M.Com) or equivalent qualification.
