Role Overview
Suta is looking for a Design & Inventory Manager – Kurta to own the category end-to-end. This role
combines product development, merchandising, inventory planning, and category management to
build commercially successful collections aligned with Suta's design philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Kurta category from design to launch.
Develop seasonal collections and evergreen styles.
Plan assortments across fabrics, colours, silhouettes, sizes, and price points.
Forecast demand, plan production, and manage inventory health.
Drive replenishment, allocation, and markdown decisions based on sales performance.
Analyse category performance and identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with Design, Production, Planning, Retail, E-commerce, Marketplace, and Supply
Chain teams to ensure successful launches.
Desired Profile
4–5 years of experience in Apparel Merchandising, Product Development, Category
Management, or Inventory Planning.
Experience in ethnic wear, fashion, lifestyle, or D2C brands.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership. Experience as a founder, early-
stage startup employee, or having built a category/business from scratch will be an added
advantage.
Strong commercial acumen with a good eye for design.
Excellent analytical, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
High ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, founder-led environment.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
