Core Technical Skills
- Skin Care: Facials, skin analysis, chemical peels, and targeted skincare treatments.
- Hair Removal: Waxing (body and facial), threading, and tweezing.
- Nail Artistry: Manicures, pedicures, gel/acrylic extensions, and nail art.
- Makeup Application: Bridal, evening, and everyday makeup, plus color-matching theory.
- Hair Styling (Optional): Blow-outs, basic styling, or hair coloring treatments.
Client & Soft Skills
- Consultation: Assessing client skin/hair types and recommending the right treatments.
- Product Upselling: Introducing and selling retail beauty products to clients.
- Time Management: Keeping appointments on schedule without rushing services.
- Communication: Building rapport, active listening, and maintaining client comfort.
Hygiene & Safety
- Sanitization: Strict sterilization of tools (tweezers, clippers, brushes) and a clean workstation.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of chemical ingredients, allergens, and skin contraindications.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Salon Beautician or Cosmetologist.
- Valid license or diploma in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of current beauty trends and advanced salon equipment.
- Flexibility to work weekend shifts and peak salon hours.
