We are looking for a passionate Mechanical Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience building Electric Vehicles (EVs), Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs), robotics platforms, or similar electromechanical systems.
This is a highly practical role where you will design, fabricate, assemble, test, and iterate mechanical systems from concept to working prototype.

Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software.
- Build, assemble, and integrate prototype vehicles and robotic platforms.
- Perform fabrication, drilling, cutting, machining, and assembly using workshop tools.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Create manufacturing drawings and documentation for fabrication.
- Work closely with electrical and embedded teams for system integration.
- Select appropriate materials, fasteners, bearings, motors, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and improve designs based on testing.
- Support field testing and rapidly iterate designs based on performance.
- Maintain workshop organization and follow safety practices.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent hands-on project experience.
- Experience building EVs, UGVs, robots, Formula Student vehicles, or similar hardware systems.
- Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, Creo, or equivalent).
- Experience creating manufacturing and assembly drawings.
- Hands-on experience using power tools such as drills, grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment.
- Comfortable assembling mechanical systems from scratch.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes including sheet metal, CNC machining, welding, laser cutting, and 3D printing.
- Knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, and mechanical design principles.
- Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical problems independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with suspension, drivetrain, chassis, or structural design.
- Familiarity with aluminium fabrication, welding, or machining.
- Experience integrating motors, gearboxes, actuators, and batteries.
- Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly).
- Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative product development.
- Participation in Formula Student, SAE BAJA, robotics competitions, or personal hardware projects.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
