About the Role :
Join Merits Capital, a leading wealth and investment management firm, as a Part Time Accountant. We are looking for an experienced accounting professional to manage our financial records oversee day to day accounting operations and ensure accurate bookkeeping while maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain the company's books of accounts.
- Handle day to day payments receipts and bank reconciliations.
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure proper bookkeeping and documentation of all accounting activities.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with monthly and yearly account reconciliation.
- Coordinate with auditors vendors and internal stakeholders when required.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and statutory requirements.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting terminology.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and Zoho Books or equivalent accounting software.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical organizational and problem solving skills with high attention to detail.
