Client Relations & Business Development Manager
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Client Relations & Business Development Manager to lead client engagement, sales operations, and business growth for our design studio.
This role is responsible for overseeing the complete client journey from the fi rst enquiry through quotation, order execution, delivery, and post-sales support while ensuring every interaction refl ects the studio's values and highly personalized approach. You will lead the Client Relations function, oversee day-to-day operations, develop strategic partnerships, mentor the team, identify growth opportunities, and provide commercial insights that contribute to the studio's long-term expansion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relationships & Sales
● Own the complete client journey from the fi rst enquiry through quotation, order confi rmation, and ongoing relationship management, ensuring timely follow-ups, personalized communication, and an exceptional customer experience that refl ects the studio's values.
● Build and nurture long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, hospitality brands, retailers, private clients, and international partners through meaningful conversations, virtual presentations, and strategic engagement, while driving repeat business, referrals, and revenue growth.
2. Operations & Customer Experience
● Oversee seamless execution of confi rmed orders by ensuring accurate ERP processing and close coordination with production, logistics, and internal teams to achieve timely delivery and operational excellence.
● Take ownership of post-order communication, proactively manage project updates, resolve client concerns and escalations, and continuously improve workfl ows to deliver a consistently outstanding customer experience.
3. Team Leadership & Process Excellence
● Lead, mentor, and manage the Client Relations Executive, ensuring consistency in enquiry handling, quotations, follow-ups, client communication, and overall service quality.
● Guide lead generation efforts by defi ning target audiences, outreach priorities, and engagement strategies, while establishing effi cient workfl ows, maintaining CRM and ERP accuracy, and driving accountability across the team.

4. Business Development & Partnerships
● Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across domestic and international markets by building relationships with architects, design studios, hospitality groups, retailers, and strategic partners through proactive outreach, networking, and collaboration.
● Continuously explore new markets, partnerships, and engagement initiatives that expand the studio's visibility, strengthen its global network, and contribute to sustainable business growth.
5. Commercial Strategy & Market Intelligence
● Monitor industry trends, customer behaviour, competitor activity, and seasonal demand to identify emerging opportunities and provide insights that support informed business decisions.
● Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies around product launches, pricing, customizations, market positioning, customer engagement, and brand visibility that strengthen the studio's competitive advantage.
6. Performance & Business Insights
● Develop and maintain reports tracking enquiries, quotations, sales conversions, pipeline health, revenue, customer retention, team productivity, and other key performance metrics.
● Present regular business reviews with actionable insights, forecasts, and recommendations that improve operational effi ciency, support strategic planning, and drive continuous business growth.
Skills & Qualifi cations
● 5–8 years of experience in client management, business development, account management, sales, or customer success, preferably within luxury products, interiors, furniture, lighting, architecture, or design.
● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build authentic, long-term client relationships.
● Proven experience in revenue growth, premium client relationships, and strategic partnerships.
● Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
● Experience working with CRM and ERP systems.
● Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
● Comfortable interacting with international clients and confi dently representing the studio on a global scale.
