Position Summary
Floatex Solar Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Engineer to manage project billing activities for Solar EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing client bills, subcontractor bills, quantity verification, coordination with project teams, and maintaining billing records from the corporate office.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit client RA Bills as per project progress and contract terms.
- Verify work quantities based on site reports, BOQ, and drawings.
- Process subcontractor and vendor bills after quantity verification.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, and Accounts for timely billing and payment processing.
- Review contracts, BOQs, work orders, and billing schedules.
- Track billing status, outstanding payments, and prepare MIS reports.
- Maintain billing documentation, measurement sheets, invoices, and supporting records.
- Assist in preparing project cost analysis and reconciliation statements.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company billing procedures.
- Support variation claims, extra item billing, and final bill preparation.
- Coordinate with clients regarding billing queries and document submission.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Solar EPC billing processes.
- Experience in RA Billing, BOQ verification, and quantity estimation.
- Understanding of EPC contracts and project documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, formulas, data analysis).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and documentation abilities.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering.
- Additional certification in Quantity Surveying or Billing will be an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Billing for Solar EPC projects.
- Experience in Solar or Floating Solar projects is preferred.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
