Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager – Purchase to lead our procurement function and ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of materials and services for projects across India. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in procurement within the electrical contracting, MEP, EPC, or construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the procurement function for multiple projects.
- Source and procure electrical materials, switchgear, cables, lighting fixtures, panels, and related equipment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
- Review purchase requisitions, comparative statements, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with project, planning, stores, and finance teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Monitor procurement budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Evaluate vendor performance and onboard new suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Prepare procurement MIS reports and present key updates to management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations will be an added advantage.
- 12–18 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in Electrical Contracting, MEP, EPC, Infrastructure, or Construction industry.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and commercial skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month
