Job Description – Project Manager (Site Execution Head)
Role Title:
Project Manager
Role Summary:
The Project Manager is the Head of Site Execution, responsible for end-to-end execution of all projects from installation start to final handover. This role oversees multiple site teams, ensures adherence to timelines, quality standards, and drives successful project delivery through strong leadership and coordination.
Reporting To:
Operations Head
Team Structure (Span of Control):
- Leads minimum 5 Site Engineers
- Each Site Engineer manages minimum 2 Site Supervisors
- Overall responsible for the entire execution workforce
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Execution Management
- Take complete ownership of site execution activities across all projects
- Ensure projects are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and company standards
- Drive error-free installation and execution excellence
2. Planning & Scheduling
- Develop project execution plans and timelines
- Ensure timely mobilization and start of installation activities
- Monitor project schedules and ensure on-time completion and handover
3. Team Leadership & Management
- Allocate projects to Site Engineers based on capacity, skill, and priority
- Provide continuous guidance, mentorship, and support to execution teams
- Build a strong execution team through training and performance management
- Ensure accountability at all levels (Engineers & Supervisors)
4. Site Monitoring & Visits
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve challenges
- Ensure site readiness, discipline, and cleanliness
- Verify that work is progressing as per planned milestones
5. Quality & Finishing Control
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and finishing benchmarks
- Conduct inspections and ensure zero defects at handover stage
- Implement corrective actions wherever deviations are identified
6. Progress Tracking & Control
- Track all projects for timeline adherence and execution efficiency
- Identify delays or risks and take proactive corrective measures
- Ensure projects are always on track and within committed timelines
7. Coordination & Escalation
- Support Site Engineers in resolving technical, operational, or client-related issues
- Act as the final escalation point for execution challenges
- Coordinate with internal teams when required to ensure smooth execution
8. Reporting & Communication
- Provide regular progress updates and reports to the Operations Head
- Highlight risks, delays, and resource requirements proactively
- Ensure transparent communication across all stakeholders
9. Handover Management
- Ensure on-time and smooth project handover to the client
- Confirm all works are completed without errors or rework
- Ensure client satisfaction at the final stage

Required Experience & Skills:
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in site execution / project management
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in handling large execution teams
