The IT Resources Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing IT assets, resources, vendor interactions, user support logistics, and administrative activities within the IT department. This role ensures smooth allocation of hardware, software, licenses, and technical resources while maintaining accurate records and supporting operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Asset & Resource Management
- Maintain inventory of IT hardware, software, licenses, and accessories.
- Coordinate procurement, allocation, tracking, and recovery of IT assets.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests as required.
- Ensure proper tagging, documentation, and lifecycle management of IT equipment.
- User Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate IT setup for new employees including laptops, accounts, software access, and peripherals.
- Manage IT asset collection and access revocation during employee exits.
- Work closely with HR and department managers to ensure timely onboarding/offboarding support.
- Vendor & Procurement Coordination
- Liaise with vendors for quotations, purchases, repairs, warranties, and renewals.
- Track purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.
- Assist in evaluating vendors and maintaining vendor documentation.
- IT Operations Support
- Coordinate scheduling of IT support activities and maintenance tasks.
- Track and follow up on service requests and issue resolution timelines.
- Support IT teams with resource planning and utilization tracking.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate IT records, reports, and dashboards.
- Prepare periodic reports on asset utilization, software licenses, and support metrics.
- Ensure documentation complies with company policies and audit requirements.
- Compliance & Security
- Support compliance with IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements.
- Assist in ensuring software licensing compliance and asset security controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT coordination, IT administration, asset management, or related roles.
- Familiarity with IT inventory systems and procurement processes.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
