The AutoCAD Drafter (Land Allotment) creates precise digital maps, layouts, and technical drawings for land distribution, zoning, and real estate development. This role involves transforming surveying data into official layouts that comply with local government regulations and engineering standards. Plot essential utility networks including roads, water pipelines, drainage systems, and electricity grids. Work closely with civil engineers, urban planners, land surveyors, and government officials. An AutoCAD land allotment or land surveying job involves drafting precise topographical, boundary, and layout plans for real estate or infrastructure projects. Duties require importing field coordinates to accurately map property lines, plot allotments (like plots, roads, and utilities), calculate exact land areas, and prepare plans for government approval. Familiarity with software like ArcGIS or Global Mapper to prepare land allocation and base maps is highly beneficial. for creating accurate, detailed, and professional survey drawings. Draft detailed master plans, plot layouts, and subdivision maps using AutoCAD. Calculate exact plot dimensions, total acreage, setbacks, and right-of-way boundaries. Ensure all geometric designs adhere to local municipal laws, zoning regulations, and building codes. Maintain and update the land allotment inventory, tracking allocated versus vacant plots. Prepare technical reports, area statements, and legal description documents for land titles. Experience in handling large-scale government housing or industrial land allotment schemes.
