Qualification:
- UG: B.Pharma in Pharmacy or Diploma in Any Specialization
- PG: Any Postgraduate qualification preferred
Work Experience: Relevant experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting is preferred
Review Patients’ Medicines:
- Provide advice on the best way to take medications.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to advise other professionals about medicines.
- Resolve problems related to prescriptions and reduce prescribing errors.
Dispense Medication:
- Follow prescriptions or doctor’s orders for dispensing medications.
- Consult patients on proper medication usage.
- Ensure the accuracy of medication dispensing and adherence to hospital protocols.
Patient Consultation:
- Offer detailed guidance on medication administration and potential side effects.
- Educate patients on the importance of medication adherence and proper usage.
Medication Management:
- Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed and manage inventory.
- Ensure compliance with legal and hospital regulations regarding medication distribution.
Collaborate with Healthcare Team:
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide recommendations on alternative therapies or adjustments to medication regimens.
Resolve Prescription Issues:
- Address any issues related to prescriptions, including medication interactions or contraindications.
- Act promptly to resolve any discrepancies or issues in medication orders.
Requirements:
